The host of this space that opened in 1990 with a typical Portuguese atmosphere is Fernando Pereira, musician, composer, singer, producer and passionate promoter of Portuguese music and culture, who receives in this space with the same affection with which he receives friends in his own home.
The decoration alluding to Portuguese traditions and the musical and cultural activities it promotes make this Taverna dos Trovadores a meeting point for Portuguese music and culture and a real haven for those arriving.
Taverna dos Trovadores hosts live Portuguese music every Friday and Saturday from 10:30 pm, in addition to promoting debates, meetings and conversations with special guests.

Shop History

Founded in 1990, the Taverna dos Trovadores started out as a bar, a night space with music, but in a short time it proved necessary to expand the concept to a restaurant. Snacks, much appreciated, were no longer enough for the rapidly growing clientele.
New spaces have emerged and today they have several rooms, privileged places to enjoy gastronomic specialties and listen to good Portuguese music.
