Shop History

Restaurant D. Henrique, founded in 1986, is renowned for its traditional
Portuguese cuisine, and for offering all the best that this region has to
offer. The house specialties are, among many, the D. Henrique codfish,
the Minho style rojões, the stew, the roasted cabrito (“goat child”), the
famous codfish pataniscas, the delicious Abade Priscos pudding and the
French toast, and always accompanied by a good green wine
characteristic of the region.
