The Shop
Traditional restaurant, dedicated to the Portuguese gastronomy, combining the flavors of cuisine with the excellence of a family atmosphere.
Shop History
Overlooking the sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte, Adega Regional de Tenões is a restaurant where you can try traditional Portuguese cuisine in a cosy, family atmosphere.
Fernando Dias opened the restaurant in the 1990s and has been running it for 29 years, thus fulfilling his dream of being involved in the restaurant business. Over the years he has always carried out improvements, but without ever departing from the traditional in order to provide the best experience for those who visit.
It’s a family-run restaurant with excellent cuisine, including roast suckling pig in a wood-fired oven, ‘Papas de Sarrabulho’ and, of course, the traditional cod made in various ways.
The table is the place where memories are made and savoured.
