The Shop

Located in the historic center of Braga, at Rua dos Capelistas, The Armazém dos Terceiros is one of the oldest shops in the city. It is dedicated to the sale of clothing.

Shop History

The history begins in 1928 when José Veiga, grandfather of the current managers, opened the first store on the same street as the current one, but in a different place. A store that was dedicated to the sale of woolen goods and also textiles “by meter” used in the confection of suits.
It was in 1956, with his son Francisco Gomes, that the shop became known as The Armazém dos Terceiros. Currently, The Armazém dos Terceiros is a large clothing commercial space, where the products sold are mostly of national production.
