The Shop
The Casa Crocodilo prides itself on affording quality service and being able to boast great, personal customer service, these qualities being as famous as the 5 metre long preserved crocodile carcass which suspends from the roof. The view from the outside forms part of the typical image of the street it occupies in the city of Porto.
Shop History
The Casa Crocodilo opened its doors in the sixties and has attached itself to the story after which it is name, that is that of the sale of the animal which a woman bough from Brazil, but did not want in her house.
This establishment is dedicated to the commercialization of shoe soles and bodies and is an icon of the city, yet even to this day it keeps preserved and hanging from the wall the reptile which gave it its name.
