Casa Moreira was founded by the father of the current owner, Manuel Mário Dias Moreira, who used to make bags for the soldiers of World War II. In 1984, the business was taken over by Hélder Manuel Cardoso Moreira, who maintains its management until today. Casa Moreira is a reference establishment in the traditional leather goods market. It stands out for the commercialisation and repair of travel bags, briefcases, wallets, belts and other leather articles, but also umbrellas and walking sticks of national and foreign origin.

Shop History

This establishment’s clients include international companies in the luxury segment, but also national companies in the goldsmithery and interior decoration sectors.
The brand is renowned for its raw materials, but above all for the technical quality of the stitching carried out on the leathers and skins, in an almost artisanal manner. It can be said that this mastery of craftsmanship is the reason for the demand for its products by the luxury market. The articles have a strong handmade component, giving continuity to an activity with strong traditions in the city and which is almost disappeared.
