The Shop

The Society "Cirilo & Pinto" was founded on January 31, 1969 and opened the "Clavis 2000" in the same year. The initial partners were José Luís Cirilo, Joaquim Júlio Pinto, Eurico Cirilo and Américo dos Santos Pinto, although shortly after its incorporation, Américo dos Santos Pinto retained all of the company’s shares and took over its management until of today. The commercial establishment has been dedicated, since its opening, exclusively to ready-to-wear and clothing for men.

Shop History

The shop is spread over two floors – ground floor and basement. The spatiality results from a 1969 project, which included furniture design, floor design (in white and black marble), ceiling design (lighting), wall covering (carpet – Tapisson). With the exception of the ground floor ceiling, the window and small maintenance works, that have been carried out over time, the establishment has remained unchanged since its opening. Given its longevity and location, the establishment maintains regular and long-term customers, mainly because it continues to arrange clothing items purchased there.
