Principe Porto Portugal is a commercial establishment, with more than a century of existence, that is dedicated to the affirmation and divulgation of regional products and handcrafts genuinely Portuguese. Its interior includes several elements in cast iron where a spiral staircase, access to the sewing workshop, a material used in the architecture of the city of Oporto in the first half of the sec. XX. Príncipe Porto Portugal is a company known in Portugal and abroad for the originality, authenticity and quality of the products. It is dedicated mainly to the commerce of pieces of clothing and footwear namely, scarves, knits, skins, boots, and regional costumes.

Shop History

In 1912, under the name of Príncipe das Malhas, Fernando S. Dias dos Santos began a success story that, more than 100 years from generation to generation, continues to preserve and enhance the roots of Portuguese traditions. Recent surveys refer to the beginning of the activity for 1897, in which there are accounting records that attest to the existence of the firm, being at that time owner great-uncle Alberto Dias dos Santos. This date proves the existence of the firm for at least 120 years, since the previous years of existence have no documentary evidence. Porto has been one of the oldest stores in the country in the trade of regional and traditional Portuguese products, and is therefore a reference point in Portugal and for the Portuguese dispersed throughout the world. for all those who visit them.
